OUR MISSION

Collective Action for the High Sierras

Partnerships are the lifeblood of our mission. By collaborating with local conservationists, researchers, and community leaders, we extend our reach and deepen our impact on the Sierra Nevada ecosystem. Together, we provide students with unprecedented access to field research and hands-on restoration projects. These alliances empower the next generation of environmental architects, ensuring that the protection of our peaks is a shared, multi-generational responsibility. Through collective action, we transform individual passion into a powerful force for lasting ecological resilience.

We collaborate with Sac Valley CNPS for native plant expertise, access to their nursery, and guidance on which species are best suited for Ward Valley meadows. Their knowledge helps us select and plant the right wildflowers to support biodiversity and stabilize soil.

United States Forest Service - Lake Tahoe Basin Management

South Lake Tahoe, CA

We work closely with the U.S. Forest Service to conduct hands-on restoration in Ward Valley. With their support, we are able to obtain necessary permits, receive expert botanical guidance, and contribute to the Lake Tahoe West Restoration Project through hand-thinning and native plantings.

Join the Movement

Supporting student-led environmental stewardship in the Sierra Nevadas starts with meaningful collaboration. We invite mission-aligned partners to help us bridge the gap between education and action, ensuring a resilient future for our mountains and the next generation of environmental protectors.
